I’ve been away for a minute, but while I’ve been away I have been hard at work on another Schoolyard Format YU-GI-OH deck! This time around I wanted to explore a bit more of a themed deck. And not just a themed deck, but a deck that could be split into 2 separate 40 card decks!
Wanting to highlight the 2 most iconic monsters, Blue-Eyes White Dragon and Dark Magician, made it pretty easy to lock in a theme. And while I originally wanted to make the theming more centered around Yugi and Kaiba, I found that building more specifically around Dragons and Spellcasters made the deck(s) more interesting. I detail all the cards featured in the deck in the following video. Enjoy!
Let me know what you think, and what other themes you would like me to explore!
